• Pleroma Tea Parlor 🌱

is a sacred project dedicated to awakening the senses and reconnecting community through the ritual of tea, the power of art, and the nourishment of shared experience. Rooted in the vision of a future cultural sanctuary in Dallas, Texas, we are building a bridge between ancient ceremony and modern creativity — one cup, one conversation, one creation at a time.

By supporting this campaign, you’re not just funding a space — you’re helping to seed a living organism: a sanctuary where art, music, poetry, and healing converge in the spirit of beauty and belonging. Your generosity allows us to begin offering curated tea packages and artistic experiences now, while growing toward a brick-and-mortar home for the soul.

  • We will be facilitating an ever evolving myriad of weekly, bi-weekly and monthly offerings geared towards community growth in mind, body and spirit.

    • ‘Spill the Tea’ at Pleroma, a weekly held group therapy and mental health awareness support group

    • Qi Gong, Guided Meditation and wellness courses

    • Arts and crafts workshops featuring presentations by local artisans

    • Weekly poetry and writing salons

    • Monthly ambient musician showcases

    • and many more experiences … truly limitless possibilities 🌱

  • My name is Quade Alexander.

I am a multidisciplinary artist and poet that goes by the pseudonym Qualia Shift.

My decade long journey with tea has been a flowing soft stream. I began my studies of Gong Fu Cha (Chinese Ceremonial Tea) while leading the table-side dim sum style service at Fine China, an elegant staple restaurant of the newly reopened historic Statler hotel by Hilton in downtown Dallas. From my dedication to the program there, I was then handed a business card with a once in a lifetime chance to be part of the best restaurant in Dallas, The French Room at The Adolphus, where I continued my studies in tea and began my tea sommelier training, hosting their eloquent afternoon tea service in one of the most awarded ballrooms in history. In 2020 I moved to the beautiful Oregon forest to reside in Portland, a city in love with Camellia sinensis. There I fell into flow once again with the ancient ceremony used as a testimony to the beauty of nature. Where friends would join for an evening together brewing leaves at Enthea tea house, in the park amongst the ferns or at the Lan Su Chinese gardens.

I like to think of myself as the catalyst, initiator of a chain reaction spilling over the fruitfulness of art, healing, and community into the lives of others, by being the creator of the concept and main facilitator of operations. Though the whole of the concept will eventually work as its own organism by allowing peers to help me build and work towards the dream space our city wants, needs and craves.
